Research Methods
At the AI CPS Policy Lab, we incorporate both quantitative and qualitative methods to address the multifaceted challenges at the intersection of technology and sustainability. For quantitative analysis, we employ statistical techniques, including both frequentist and Bayesian methods, to ensure rigorous data interpretation and results. On the qualitative side, our methods include content analysis, discourse analysis, and qualitative comparative analysis (QCA). This dual-methodological approach ensures comprehensive insights and effective solutions in our work on cyber-physical systems and environmental sustainability.

RESEARCH
Smart and Clean Energy
For energy studies, our focus is on the energy transition towards clean and smart energy systems. Our investigations encompass technologies such as smart meters, smart grids, and transitive energy systems, which can enhance efficiency and sustainability.
Sustainable and Automated Mobility
At the AI CPS Policy Lab, our research extends to sustainable and automated mobilities, particularly focusing on connected and automated vehicles (CAVs). We explore the regulatory pathways essential for the responsible development of automated vehicles.
ESG and Corporate Governance
We also engage with studies on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) research and corporate governance. Recognizing the role corporations play in addressing environmental challenges, our research focuses on how governance can be leveraged to promote sustainability.
